What you get, and the catch

Teams shipping web front ends who want preview deployments and a global CDN without running servers.
Watch out
Costs depend on usage beyond the included allowances, and SAML SSO is a $300-a-month add-on on Pro.

Vercel's pricing page says all prices are in USD and exclude VAT. It lists three plans.

  • Hobby: $0 a month, with 1 developer seat, 100 GB of fast data transfer, 1 million CDN requests and 4 hours of active CPU a month, 1 GB of blob storage and 10 GB of deployment storage.
  • Pro: $20 a month per developer seat, with 1 TB of fast data transfer included. Viewer seats are unlimited. The FAQ says Pro "plans have a $20 included credit to use across resources". Build time on basic machines is metered at $0.007 a minute.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing.

Seat pricing applies to developer seats. People who only need viewer access take viewer seats, which are unlimited on Pro. So a five-person company with two developers pays for two seats, not five.

The cost to plan for is usage. Transfer, compute and build minutes beyond the included amounts are billed by consumption. A marketing site will usually stay inside the allowance, while a busy app may not. SAML single sign-on is listed at $300 a month as an add-on for Pro and included in Enterprise.
