Write for us
We publish people who have paid for, run or left the software we cover. The bar is evidence.

What we are looking for
Pieces from people who have bought, run or moved off the software we cover, and can show what it cost. The best ones answer a question a pricing page leaves open.
- What a tool actually cost your team over a year, including the add-ons and the plan you were moved onto.
- Moving from one tool to another: what exported cleanly, what did not, and how long it took.
- Running an open-source tool yourself: the server, the upkeep and the time, against the per-seat price you avoided.
- Where a seat cap, minimum or free-tier limit changed your decision.
The evidence standard
- At least one link to a primary source for roughly every 300 words.
- Every price read from the vendor's own page, with the date you read it.
- Your own numbers are welcome, with enough detail that a reader can see how you got them.
- Any commercial interest in a product you write about disclosed to us before we commission.
We check what you send. A figure that cannot be traced to a source comes out.
What gets declined
- Pieces that exist to place a link.
- Round-ups assembled from other round-ups.
- Undisclosed promotion of a product you sell, work for or are paid by.
- Copy written in marketing language rather than plain description.
If you want a link, the vendors page is the honest route.
