What you get, and the catch

- The plan is sized for teams of 2 to 150, and the Premium seat costs five times the Standard seat.
The Claude pricing page sells the Team plan "for teams of 2 to 150" in two seat types:
- Standard seat: $20 per seat per month billed annually, or $25 billed monthly.
- Premium seat: $100 per seat per month billed annually, or $125 monthly.
Billing is available monthly or annually. Two seat prices suggest giving the expensive seat only to heavy users. Confirm with Anthropic how mixing seat types works before you budget that way.
For a business purchase, the data terms matter as much as the price. The pricing page lists model training on Team content as "None by default", and its feature list says "No model training on your content by default". Anthropic's commercial terms, which apply to business customers, state: "Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from Services." The same terms say the customer retains rights to its inputs and owns its outputs. Retention periods and admin controls are not set out on the pages we read, so ask about them if your security review requires them.
At 10 people on Standard seats: $200 a month on annual billing. If 2 of those 10 were Premium seats: $360 a month ($160 + $200), assuming seats can be mixed. Compare it with assistants built into tools you may already pay for in the AI tools for work category.
