What you get, and the catch

Self-hosting and SSO are both listed on the Enterprise plan, not Teams.

Bitwarden's business pricing is short and cheap: Teams at $4 per user per month and Enterprise at $6, both billed annually. The page says prices are in USD and based on an annual subscription, and lets you "add as many users as you like with a flat rate per seat."

The Teams card lists directory sync and SCIM provisioning. Enterprise adds the two features most often asked about. The Enterprise card lists "Passwordless SSO integration" and "Flexibility to self-host". We could not read the full comparison table, so we cannot confirm whether Teams includes any form of SSO. Check that if it matters.

The server code is public. The server repository contains two licence files: one AGPL-3.0, and a separate Bitwarden licence. Some components are open source and some are not, so do not assume every feature is available under the AGPL.

Personal accounts are free. Business plans have no free tier, but Bitwarden offers a 14-day Enterprise trial.
