What you get, and the catch

Best for
Teams of 10 to 20 on the Starter Pack, and larger teams that need identity-provider integration.
Watch out
The Starter Pack has a 10-user minimum and a 20-user ceiling. SSO integration starts at Business.

1Password's business pricing page offers two self-serve plans, both quoted on annual billing:

  • Teams Starter Pack: $24.95 a month billed annually ($299.40 a year), which includes 10 members. The page lists a 10-user minimum and a maximum of 20 users. Extra seats beyond the first 10 cost $4.99 per seat per month.
  • Business: $8.99 per user per month billed annually ($107.88 per user per year), with a 1-user minimum and no stated maximum.

Neither plan's monthly-billing price was shown. Both have a 14-day free trial with no card required, and there is no free business plan. The page offers USD, CAD and EUR prices.

The deciding feature for many companies is single sign-on. Business is the lowest plan that lists integration with identity providers ("Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin, Duo, and more"). The Starter Pack card does not list it.

The Starter Pack is good value at exactly 10 people ($2.50 per person) and gets worse after that. At 20 people it costs $24.95 plus 10 × $4.99, which is $74.85 a month, or about $3.74 a head. Past 20, Business is the only self-serve option.

At 10 users: $24.95 a month on the Starter Pack. At 25 users: $224.75 a month on Business. Compare it with open-source and self-hosted vaults in the password managers category.
