What you get, and the catch
- Best for
- Companies that hire continuously and want unlimited job posts and SSO from the entry plan.
- Watch out
- Pricing follows total employee count, not the number of people hiring, so the bill rises as the company grows even if hiring does not.
Workable does not charge per recruiter. Its pricing page sets prices by company size, in employee bands from "1 - 20 employees" up to "1000+ employees". For the smallest band on our read date:
- Standard: $299 a month, shown as $3,588 a year.
- Premier: $599 a month ($7,188 a year), annual payment.
- Enterprise: $719 a month ($8,628 a year), annual payment.
Each plan includes unlimited active jobs, subject to fair-use limits. Single sign-on is listed under Standard, the entry plan, which is earlier than most hiring tools offer it. There is no free plan. Workable offers a 15-day trial with no card required, which excludes its Workable Agent feature.
Headcount-based pricing cuts both ways. A 15-person company that hires constantly gets unlimited jobs and as many hiring managers as it likes for one price. A company that grows past 20 employees moves to a higher band even if it opens fewer roles. We only read the 1–20 band's prices. Set the selector to your own headcount before you compare.
For a company of up to 20 people: $299 a month on Standard. Compare it with a free-to-start ATS and an open-source HR system in the HR & hiring category.
