What you get, and the catch
- Best for
- Businesses whose email is mainly a newsletter or broadcast list, and who want to grow a large list before paying.
- Watch out
- We could not read Kit's main pricing page on the read date. The figures here come from Kit's own help centre.
Kit's main pricing page refused automated requests on the day we checked, so every figure here comes from Kit's own help centre. We note that rather than fill the gap from secondary sources.
The Free plan article, dated 23 September 2026, says the Free plan gives "up to 10,000 email subscribers, unlimited forms and landing pages, and unlimited email broadcasts at no cost", and that it costs $0 for as long as the list stays under 10,000. That is a much higher free ceiling than the other list-priced tools we track, which start charging at a few hundred contacts.
Paid pricing scales with list size. Kit's billing article uses the Creator plan as its worked example: $39 a month at 1,000 subscribers and $59 a month at 3,000. It also says annual plans give "12 months for the price of 10". Applying that rule to the 1,000-subscriber tier gives $390 a year. That is our own arithmetic, not a figure Kit prints.
What the free plan leaves out (automation depth, integrations, team seats) is set out on the pricing page we could not read, so check it before you commit.
For a 1,000-subscriber list: $0 on Free, or $39 a month on Creator if you need its features. Compare list-size pricing across tools in the email marketing category.
